This is a 1973 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia convertible is powered by a 1.6L air-cooled flat-four and a four-speed manual transmission. The engine was overhauled during previous ownership, the single carburetor was said to have been rebuilt, and the valves were checked and the oil changed recently. The odometer shows 82,313 miles but true mileage is unknown. The previous owner put less than 1,000 miles on it.

The previous owners also shared that the nose section was replaced and the car was then refinished in blue paint seen here and that the front and rear turn signals were recently replaced. They noted that the upper and lower dashboard pads, wipers,
door panels, seat covers and cushions, and radio were replaced.

The rear window defogger is said to not be working and they also stated that there is a gasoline smell in the cabin if the car is stored for a while with the windows rolled up.

It has a black convertible cloth top with a matching top boot, car cover, high-back bucket seats in cream vinyl with matching door panels, beige carpets and a body-color dashboard. There is a four-spoke steering wheel and VDO instrumentation with a 120-mph speedometer and an
analog clock that is said to have been rebuilt.

Equipment includes door pockets, manual windows, floor mats, a dash mounted windshield washer switch, and an AM/FM radio with an auxiliary input. The chrome bumpers and trim look great, it has Karmann Ghia badging, as well as polished dual exhaust outlets.

The Steel 15″ wheels have chrome VW hubcaps and the tires are 185/65 Michelin X Tour A/S tires with 2019 date codes. A matching spare with a Continental tire is stowed in the front trunk and this VW has front disc and rear drum brakes.

The fuel tank, muffler, and exhaust outlets are said to have been replaced and there is some service history documentation.
