This 1982 Chevrolet G20 conversion van is finished in metallic brown with gold and copper stripes over
a custom tan velour interior. Power comes from a 305ci V8 running through a three-speed automatic
transmission and the engine has been fitted with a custom intake according to a previous owner who
have also said that there was a transmission overhaul and a tune-up and new valve cover gaskets. The
three-speed TH-350 automatic transmission was overhauled and the torque converter replaced by
Dave's Transmission, Inc., of Grayslake, Illinois in 2019 and the driveshaft U-joints have also been changed.
The painted steel wheels wear chrome trim rings wrapped in 15″ whitewall tires. A hard spare wheel
cover with a chrome accent band that is mounted to a swing-out carrier at the rear.
Actual mileage is unknown as there was a “Not Actual Mileage” title issued in 2005. The voltmeter and
oil pressure gauge operate intermittently, and various holes have been drilled in the center console
engine cover. The van is equipped with power windows and locks, and a trailer brake controller is
mounted to the underside of the dash.
In typical 80's style, there is pleated velour upholstery on the front seats, single swiveling captain's
chair, and rear bench seat that unfolds into a bed. Brown carpets cover the floors. Accessories
include a table with cupholders, curtains, a period refrigerator-style Coleman cooler, a Pioneer
CD player with a remote, and aftermarket speakers, a Coleman cooler, an insect deflector,
running boards, wheel arch trim, camper-style windows, a rear ladder, and bumper overriders.
The headliner and sliding door panel were recovered by a previous owner as well.
